Luckyscent Videos: Diptyque - Orpheon

Today I'm wearing Orpheon. This is the newest fragrance from Diptyque. In fact, it was made to celebrate the 60th anniversary of this really remarkable brand. Diptyque comes out with some of my all-time favorite fragrances, so I was really excited about this. And I'm delighted to say that all the expectation has paid off. It's amazing. I love this scent so much.

It's powdery, it's soapy, it's really old school. I feel elegant when I wear it. It's the kind of thing where it's not going to project like crazy, but I just like the way it makes me feel. I've heard that it's a little bit similar to Fleur de Peau, also from Diptyque, and I would agree with that. It is that powdery, soapy kind of fragrance, but it's not so iris-focused the way that is.

I feel this goes more into juniper and woods. Maybe it's IsoE Super that I'm detecting. And this will sound like blasphemy, but I get a little bit of dial soap, like the old school bar of that soap. Love it. Check out Orphéon.
