Goldfield & Banks - Purple Suede review

Transcript

When I first tried on Purple Suede from Goldfield & Banks, I wasn't sure what the purple was referring to. I kind of assumed it was referring to violet because violet leather scents, that's a thing. Think Fahrenheit by Dior, a fragrance I really love.

So I put this on and it turns out purple is referring to lavender, this really beautiful dry herbal lavender. And with the lavender, you get this fantastic saddle leather. And it's just the perfect amount of leather, a little bit smokey in the dry down. It's so balanced, so nuanced, and I just feel so sophisticated wearing this.

Now sometimes leather scents can be a bit much for me, and they wear me rather than I'm wearing a leather scent. That's not the case with Purple Suede. In fact, I really think this is going to be part of my rotation coming up. Love this, check it out.
