I really want to like this, but something just smells off or plastic-y. I hate to judge it off of the sample without using an atomizer, but it does not smell great on my skin. Maybe its the raspberry that is WAY too strong? Or maybe its not mixing with the lavender? I can't really tell.

Celeste evokes a nostalgic scent memory from the early 2000's for me personally. Another reviewer was correct about the distinct Play-Doh note - it's very unexpected! Overall, it's a scent that captures a moment in time, but doesn't quite fit into my everyday fragrance rotation.

This is a VERY polarizing scent - either you love it or you hate it. If you grew up on Lush Snow Fairy and Love Violet, this is for you. If not, it’ll smell like Violet Cotton Candy. It’s VERY sweet, so I would not consider it unisex. I personally love it, but don’t blind buy! Sample first!

I love Celeste. In fact, she's my favorite of all GDT. My second and third favorites are BoraBora and Bianco Latte. I would say it's a safe blind buy for those curious. It's super sweet and lasts very long. I get a solid 10-12 hours. Atomizer is so-so, and I would heed a warning that it will stain light or white clothing yellow, so be careful, but as always enjoy. :) This one is beautiful!

I ordered a sample of Celeste as I am looking for a new spring signature scent. This has the obvious mark of Giardini di Toscana DNA, and there is a hint of the BL vanilla in it as well. For me, I also got a distinct playdough note here. I think for spring and the beginning cool days of summer this is quite lovely, but in the high heat this would suffocate you. For my tastes, if I were looking for two distinct perfumes, Bianco Latte and BoraBora would be the better two to have. BoraBora has lovely floral and tropical notes, and for me anyways (I like all of my scents to be distinct from each other), this feels just a touch too similar to BL to justify buying both bottles.

Celeste is such a beautiful ethereal sweet sugar violet vanilla. I ordered a sample and placed an order for the full bottle immediately. It almost smells like pink starburst as well. I have never smelled such a complex fragrance as this one! Since I started my collection, i thought i only liked gourmand vanillas but this has changed my nose completely lol. This is Definitely a spring summer fragrance but I would wear it all year. I wouldn't say its a safe blind buy though.

Wow - this one comes across as dreamy and almost underrated if you weren't looking for it. Such a magical combination, and the lavender and citrus and sea notes form something really cool and refreshing.. then after about 30 mins, the vanilla and ambroxan come to play, and the harmony of the drydown not only made me me feel so put together and unexpected, but also so distinct because the vanilla is unexpected and tempered. Received several compliments "wow you smell good," "you smell like summer."

This is the most beautiful and most feminine fragrance I've ever had. It's a candied violet masterpiece. The opening made me nervous the first time I tried it, but I couldn't get the smell out of my head. I kept going back for more and I'm in love. I absolutely love Celeste. I got the Discovery Kit because Bianco Latte was on backorder and I wanted to get my nose on BL. Celeste was actually a love the moment I got my nose on it. It's an acquired taste. I get more of the powdered raspberry with a melon zing undertone. Almost like a fancy cucumber melon undertone- fresh and beachy vibes as well. Drydown is magical for me. Very reminiscent to how Bianco Latte wears.

I did not have much in mind for this one, but it's really something. Like, good GOOD something. It opens just like a big bag of red and pink Starburst. Ok, I didn't love that part, BUT the dry-down and melding of the notes are fantastical. It melts into an aquatic violet wonderland punched with dreamy florals and vanilla. It's a bit like eating a fruity candy on a boardwalk on one of the first nights of a warm spring. Purple skies twinkling and saltwater lapping underneath your toes. Celeste is nostalgic and dreamy and a true goddess.

I am astounded by the amount that I hated this fragrance, almost to the point that I’m impressed by my visceral reaction. The violet in this is so candied that it ends up being the most synthetic plasticky combination of notes I’ve ever smelled. It reminded me of the overly fake and sweet scent of bath bombs wrapped in plastic packaging, not for me!!
