Vetiver in Bloom

A cool lilac scent with soft woods and something that hints of vanilla in the base. Very pleasant, soft sillage. Nothing earth shattering but so pretty and soft, without being powdery. Nice!

I was cautiously hopeful with a sample because vetiver is my archenemy. I needn't have worried. I get the vetiver strong only for the first 15 minutes or so, and even then, it's lovely vetiver. Then, hyacinth appears. It's not an overpowering hyacinth because the entire perfume has a soft, hazy, ethereal feel to me. I could do with much stronger hyacinth. I practically have my face stuck into the peppery floral plant whenever I'm lucky enough to receive one! I never did get the juniper or magnolia here, it never goes into men's cologne territory, and the dry down is a delicious soft barely sweet vanilla and barely there patchouli for me. Lasted a good 8-10 hours on me and the gentle wafts from the breeze were very noticeable. Beautiful.
