If you like Tar Eau de Toilette, we recommend you try:
Here's what other people are saying about Tar...
The opening statement is a beachside drag strip in a bottle -- gasoline, tar, salt, cigarettes, and the heat of the day just after sunset. (A marine version of Asphalt Rainbow? Yes please!) Alas, this house seems to have a problem with followthrough on its tar / asphalt offerings -- looking at you, Gosha Rubchinskiy EdT -- and this sorts itself out quickly to a pleasant amber / sandalwood rumble. Not a bad place to land, but this is another fragrance that leaves you craving that opening flourish.

Disappointed when this fragrance was dropped some years back by Comme De Garcon. Quietly thrilled when they brought it back as part of the Olfactory Library series. It's just as remembered. How is an ingredient like asphalt rendered into olfactory art? Good question. It's exactly that. Delicious for something that shouldn't be. Loads of compliments....

I love this one; I would agree with LS description, but it is also a lot softer and civilized than I imagined it to be; luckily not antisocial, but quirky and wearable. Perhaps: hot rubber on motorway, smell of cigarette smoke on leather fingerless gloves, with a whiff from a field of soft flowers nearby.
