In my opinion, this perfume is outstanding! It is sexy, clean and fresh and, most importantly, it lasts at least 10 hours. I am beyond disgusted with the profound lack of longevity in expensive perfumes!!! No, I don't believe all the hype about "skin scents," layering, etc. I feel we are just getting robbed and it needs to stop. I bought this on a fluke, kind of a last ditch effort as I am wayyy tired of getting robbed, but am so pleased that finally a company with integrity makes real perfume. Frankly, I was no longer going to waste my money but this paid off. Bravo Parfums de Marly!!! I don't think is masculine at all, you need to try it ladies...

Originally bought a sample of this for myself as I love cinnamon notes in fall perfumes. I found this to be a touch too masculine leaning for me, so gave it to my partner to wear instead. While we both loved the warm cinnamon, clean citrus, praline, and spice notes, the sillage was really poor. Even after a generous application, I couldn't smell it unless I was very close to him. He said the skin scent lasted for the whole evening and he quite liked it as well, but for the price point we both were looking for something with a bit more wow factor. This is a lovely scent - hoping they come up with something a touch stronger in future revamps of this.

Very nice blend of cinnamon and vanilla, just the right touch. The dry-down is fantastic, and the orange is more noticeable...it’s not overbearing like some vanilla fragrances, and it’s a little less gourmand-ish. The leather is minimal which makes it pleasing. Overall it’s a winner to me and will recommend it to others.

I own Oajan & Herod, so the notes on this new release intrigued me. The opening showcases orange flower, bergamot, & cardamom, but fades away quickly on me, revealing rich vanilla, cinnamon & praline that is sweet without being too cloying. Lovely, but not groundbreaking. Unfortunately this becomes a skin scent after about 30 minutes and is a whisper on my skin 2-3 hours later. For PdM this is poor performance. I suspect that it may last longer on fabric so it may be a good sweater scent. Overall thoughts: comforting scent that is well-blended. The first 30 minutes are intoxicating if you enjoy these scent notes. Longevity & projection are pretty poor for the price point & house. Would be a full bottle buy for me otherwise.
