Here's what other people are saying about Bois d'Iris...
I truly admire this fragrance and have tried to get it to like me back. No luck. The problem for me is the solid 90 minutes of straight up root beer I get in hours 2 and 3. A rich, uber-sweet root beer, one I'd savor in a glass. On my body for almost two hours? Not so much. It seems others don't have this problem. I envy them, because this is a very beautifully made iris fragrance.

This one is light and airy iris based unisex fragrance even though it's marketed for women. It's one that I love to smell on myself and I know people won't smell it from across the room. The Iris note sort of lingers around with the slight hint of woody notes and vanilla to follow. Perfectly suited for everyday wear but yet, so different that you won't smell like anyone else around.

sweetly woodsy iris. wonderful perfume. more sweeter and powdery than I imagined.

This is my first run-in with perfumer Emilie Copperman (expressing my ignorance here). There are so many irises out there, you would think that it has all been done. This is a wonderful, dry masculine iris - like driftwood. This and Cologne Noire should be in every gentleman's inventory. This is Tom Ford suit stuff.

Whoa, I really like this. The description is perfectly accurate: there's iris, a sweet ambergris current running through it, and a dry wood underneath. I thought I could be a cool girl and wear a man's perfume, so originally I tried Dior Homme for its iris, but it was just too manly (and it's not even that butch). This is just barely masculine, a little smoother than Homme, and pretty perfect all around. If only there were a smaller (cheaper) option, right around $100 and I'd jump.

I wore this out and the compliments were immediate. I really love iris and this captures it exceptionally well while still keeping things interesting. Love it!

This is one of the best iris perfumes I have ever tried. It's not overly pretty or flowery, and it doesn't have the citrus top notes that are so often used in iris scents, but just a salty, woody, elegant feel to it. Very long-lasting but not too loud.
