Scent Bar Staff Video Review for Tigre d'Eau

Video Transcript

A scent that I'm currently really excited about is Tigre d'Eau by Pierre Guillaume. This scent is listed as somewhere between a fougere and an amber. To me, it comes across initially as a super beautiful sort of aquatic coconut water scent.

However, with the base and the dry down, it becomes this really intoxicating, like pink pepper, silky, salted caramel tonka bean scent. Although it does dry down into the base notes of more of like the salted caramel and tonka, it does have a really beautiful sort of like resinous sweetness, but I wouldn't consider it a gourmand.

It's just a very beautiful, intoxicating scent.

This is one is everything I wanted it to be! It opens bright and fresh with that sea salt and green accord and then as it wears it becomes this creamy, slightly coconuty caramel scent that almost leans gourmand to me, but not quite as I still smell some of that sea salt. The only note I’m struggling to get is the grapefruit, which is ok by me! A winner in every way, I can’t wait to add this to my collection.
