Today, I'm sniffing Kashan Rose by The Different Company. This is one of my all-time favorite rose scents, and it kind of came to me by surprise. So I haven't really thought of myself as much of a rose fragrance fan. I wasn't against it. I've had it in multiple scents that I've loved, and there's been a little bit of rose in the heart or something like that. So I do appreciate a good rose, but I've never really searched out a super strong rose-forward scent.
That's not really what this is. However, I would say that the star of this fragrance is the Persian Rose note here. But it's so much more than that. It's really beautiful. It kind of took me by surprise because I feel like there's so many in the line of The Different Company that have these white caps, and they're meant to be everyday wearable, easy, clean, and light, and you can just kind of spray it all over and go about your day. They're maybe not going to last all day, but this one I have found actually does last a pretty good amount of time, like a solid maybe half a day, if that, if not a little bit more, I mean.
But really, what I love about this fragrance is it kind of bursts open with this beautiful cardamom, which I've been talking about cardamom a lot lately. It's one of my favorite notes in perfume, and it has a little bit of sage and lychee. I don't get a ton of lychee, but I think it just adds a tiny bit of a fruitiness to this scent. So it kind of opens sparkling and fresh with these sort of herbaceous, kind of almost citrusy notes, right?
And then it goes into this really lovely Persian Rose. And again, it's highlighted. It's the star of this fragrance, but it's not like a heavy rose. It's not like your grandmother's rose or like a kind of a vintage style that you might think of,
