Pas de Velours

This scent here, Pas de Velour from Les Nereides, was truly love at first sniff for me. I tried it on initially and I just thought it was an unassuming amber, kind of light and sheer for amber. When you read the list of notes from this brand, it doesn't really list amber per se. It lists some vanilla and incense and maybe it's this combination that's giving this light amber effect.

I love it. It's definitely not a gourmand vanilla in any way. When I wear it, I just feel comforted. It's kind of like a hug and it's kind of subtle. But what I love about it is I think there must be a lot of IsoE Super in this fragrance because it projects beautifully, almost like Molecule One projects.

So if you're a Molecule One wearer but you want something with a little bit more substance that you can enjoy when you wear it, then I would definitely check Velvet Step, Pas de Velour.
