Rue des Lilas Eau de Toilette by Phaedon
|

 |
The humble, lovely lilac has been sadly neglected by perfumers of late because of its unfortunate associations with less-than-elegant household products. Which means it was long due for a revival. Phaedon got there first with Rue des Lilas – which is the name of an actual Parisian street-- a joyful, vernal fragrance blending the lush, almondy scent of white lilac with the green, rosy notes of muguet. The tiny white blossoms float in a cloud of powdery musk. As innocent and tender as the first giddy days of spring.
