Dzhari Eau de Toilette by Phaedon

Even if we hadn’t known Pierre Guillaume was the nose behind Dzhari, we might have guessed. The scent, named after a wind that blows in Lybia, features the exotic gourmand notes he loves to play around with. A study in burnished amber tones, Dzhari has the translucent sweetness of candied dates, enhanced by the raisin and caramel aromas of Malaga wine. Tonka bean lends a smoky depth to the blend as well as rich almond facets.
Dzhari’s meltingly edible notes are balanced out by an original terracotta effect that grounds them in the sun-scorched earth of Andalusia, but somehow le beau Pierre manages to make them as ethereal as the wind that gives its name to the scent. A beautifully sensuous ode to the flavors of a land that was once known as Al-Andalus.
