What a stunning combo of a purple, pulpy fig, shiso and a sparkle from ginger. In the drydown, I even get a bit of the cream. The perfect combo of fruity, aromatic and warm. Perfect transition scent.

Ile Pourpre is a winnerI adore it. It starts out a jammy, syrupy, fruity scent... like mulled stone fruits (even though I don't see them in the notes), but without being overpowering or too sweet. There's a little bit of a light, powdery quality that balances out the richness of the fig perfectly. It's truly unique and would be a great addition to any scent collection. For me, this wouldn't be an everyday scent, it feels more evening, dark and sexy, though I dont think it would be inappropriate or overpower in the daytime either. I do wish it lasted longer and that that it took longer to mature (it dries down pretty quickly.) As a side note, I also think it layers well with vanilla scents (I've been wearing it over BIanco Latte.)

Wow! This is sexy, mysterious, enveloping and just gorgeous. A signature for sure - any season, event or time of day. It is not too much and if anything, comes alive after 5. I think the notes are beautifully blended and not too much. Very nice. Unisex but CB leans feminine to me.

Gorgeous fragrance. Completely unisex although this pulls more feminine in my opinion. I love the ginger, fig, davana, and whipped cream combination. This is an airy, creamy spiced fig that is sexy and mysterious, and I don't find it to be sweet. Could be a signature fragrance for day and night, since it is light and airy, yet can be formal and date night due to the spices and davana, which adds a richness to the scent. I feel it comes alive after 5 however. It is true it is not long lasting, I love that this is not too sweet, too spicy, too figgy or too creamy. It actually smells like it is more cherry-like on me. There is something utterly romantic about it. I can see the tropical island drenched in purple.

This is so gorgeous! That warming opening with ginger, Shiso and bergamot over the fig, blended with that base of cedar and ambroxan just does it for me! Such a fantastic blend, and it keeps getting better. I wore this on a breezy, mild summer evening and it was just spectacular! Super sensuous and classy. I didn’t expect this to be a love, but it just is. Full bottle worthy immediately

Weird and wonderful; another entry in the Endlessly Odd Iris annals, and it's just lovely. Our chilly floral friend is an axis, around which rotate various scents that truly don't get out enough (nothing like a notes list that sends you bolting for Google), plus a marvelous spiced fig. There's an irregular but not unpleasant pong in the midrange, a la non-imaginary fruit, and the whipped cream note at the end is just a delicious little punctuation. Dark, luscious, fascinating.
