Luckyscent Videos: Tonka Cola - Mancera

I remember hearing a story on the radio about the history of cola and it was so interesting to me. I never really thought about the notes that make up cola and that very distinctive signature of smell and flavor. So we're talking all these citrus oils as well as neroli. I've never thought about cola in the same way ever since.

So I was really excited about this release Tonka Cola from Mancera. Sure enough, you get this wonderful fizzy cola. I can practically feel the bubbles of carbonation on my nose. And then in the dry down, the spices really come forward. Think cinnamon, especially. And it combines beautifully with a touch of patchouli and gorgeous creamy amber notes, specifically cystus labdenum.

It actually starts going more into a spicy amber in the dry down. Although that cola remains through the whole duration of this fragrance. I highly recommend it. I love it. Tonka Cola from Mancera.
