Luckyscent Videos: Sugar Leather - Une Nuit Nomade

I love fragrances that really paint the picture, and this Sugar Leather from Une Nuit Nomade does exactly that. So think, Omani desert covered in white sand, and going through the desert on Saddleback, that is the image of this fragrance. You're supposed to think about the saddle leather dusted in white sand, but it actually resembles powdered sugar, and that's when you get the thoughts of leather and sugar coming together. Really interesting.

I've worn this a few times, and I have to say, it's not very leather forward. I wouldn't even categorize this as a leather fragrance. For me, it's all about the warmth and the spice. Think of dates and cinnamon, Cystis labdanum, which give it that nice ambery back. Really beautiful.

If you're a fan of Augeant from Parfum de Marly, or Dates Delight from the House of Oud, this fragrance is more in keeping with those, and I highly encourage you to check it out, especially if you're into those spicy gourmands.
