Luckyscent Videos: Aqua Media Cologne Forte - Maison Francis Kurkdjian

Many people are familiar with the brand Maison Francis Kurkdjian because of its star perfume, Baccarat Rouge 540. This, by contrast, is a new release and it's so different from Baccarat Rouge in that it's so sparkling and playful. This is perfect for summer.

So it's a combination of herbal notes, verbena, green tea, sweet fennel. I love all of these with some wood and musk in the background to give it some longevity. In fact, it's reminiscent to another fragrance that I've worn for years called Herbe Fresca from Guérin. Whereas that fragrance I so love and I find so refreshing has very poor longevity and that's because it's an eau de cologne and I expect that from an eau de cologne.

But that's why Francis Kurkdjian is a star engineer when it comes to perfume because it has those beautiful top notes that just linger and linger in a way that is very unexpected. I highly recommend Aqua Media Cologne Forte.
