Luckyscent Videos: African Rooibos - Chris Collins

If you know me at all, you know that I love tea fragrances. It's my thing. So, of course, I was incredibly excited to try African Rooibos from Chris Collins. I love to drink Rooibos tea, and I love the smell of it.

This fragrance, which was designed by the perfumer Sidonie L'Ancessaire, beautifully combines Rooibos tea with cardamom and black pepper. You get those wonderful spice notes along with that bergamot on top, which just gives it this great lift. I get a nice ambery dry down, which is very fitting for Rooibos.

And if you drink the tea, you know that it has almost a vanilla touch to it, although it never goes creamy and sweet the way vanilla does, but you do get that softness. This is a beautifully blended fragrance, and I highly recommend it. African Rooibos.
