Luckyscent Videos: Dusita - Montri

I'm smelling Montri from Dusita. The founder of this brand and perfumer, Pisara Umavijani, named this fragrance after her father, Montri, who was a poet in Thailand, a really beautiful poet. So this fragrance is in honor of him.

It's a blend of spices, a touch of rose, and oud, this really beautiful lilting oud in the base. It's just the most perfect combination of notes. Now, if you're familiar with Oud and Fini, also from Dusita, this shares some of the notes of that fragrance, but Oud and Fini has much more of an animalic growl. There's the oud, but I also detect civet, which gives it that animalic quality. It's not for everyone because it is so animalic.

But imagine, reining all of that into something you can wear every day, and it would be Montri. I think it's pure elegance, and I'd love to wear this.
