Luckyscent Videos: Maison Crivelli - Absinthe Boreale

It's hard not to love a classic fougere. Fougere style scents are so approachable and most of the top-selling mass-market masculine fragrances are in the fougere style. So this is really exciting to me, Absinthe Boreale, because it's taking that classical fougere style which almost always uses lavender in the mix and combines it with other herbal notes like Clary Sage.

This one also contains some Artemisia, some mint, and it gives this really beautiful cool icy feel to it. The name Boreale makes me think of the Aurora Borealis. So I'm thinking you're at the very top of Scandinavia, maybe plucking wild herbs in springtime.

This is fantastic. Like I said, it's incredibly approachable, very easy to wear, and it has a very classic masculine feel, but I think this would be so fantastic on a woman too. Clean, bright, and sophisticated.
