Luckyscent Videos: Maison Tahite - Vanilla2

Maison Tahite is a new brand that we just started carrying at Lucky Scent. Really interesting brand. You should check them out. Their packaging is all about sustainability. In fact, the cardboard is made from almond shells and it's all vegetable glue. Really cool. I love this new direction in perfumery.

Anyway, the smell, amazing. They're all dedicated to vanilla fragrances and they really show the breadth and diversity of vanilla-based scents. This is my personal favorite. It's called Vanilla Squared. And as you can imagine, it's very vanilla with a little bit of praline. It kind of runs powdery and it's certainly for gourmand lovers.

But what I love about this, and I think I'm imagining this, but I've told other people and they're smelling it too, is this little touch of wood smoke. I'm thinking maybe pinon or something like desert pine. It's really outstanding and gives this interesting dimension to an otherwise very straightforward delicious gourmand vanilla. Check it out.
