Hiram Green - Moon Bloom Eau de Parfum

Transcript

Moon Bloom is one of my favorite naturals that we carry at Luckyscent. This is a beautiful natural floral created by Hiram Green, the perfumer from the Netherlands, that works in a completely natural palette. And what I love so much about it is that he's able to achieve this gorgeous multidimensional texture with a vivid, sparkling floral and then a cool creaminess in the base.

It's built around a tuberose note. It has a bright, nearly mentholated tuberose to start with a lower key, creamy ylang ylang and then a slightly endolic jasmine kind of diffusing the floral cord. It feels kind of like a waft from night-blooming tropical florals. And I think that this is a beautiful evening scent, not because it's heavy, but because it's heady and it's very romantic.

There are sparkling green notes surrounding the florals that you get for the first 20, 30 minutes with this scent. And I love it. It's a little bit dewy. It's also a little bit like vintage 80s fresh green. So I really enjoy that in the opening.

But I got to say, my favorite part about the Moon Bloom is the base notes. It's got this cool, creamy coconut and resins and spices. So it's kind of brilliant, because being a natural, the floral top notes are going to be slightly more ephemeral. You're not going to have longevity that you would with a synthetic palette, but as those floral notes soften to a whisper, then this cool, creamy base emerges.

And I'm so shocked by how beautiful, sexy and contemporary that base feels. It's not something I've smelled that often in natural perfumery. So I think that this is a must try for any tuberose lover. Also a must try if you're skeptical about the capabilities of a natural perfumer. Give this a sniff.
