Lately, I've been wearing Neroli Portofino Forte. This is from TOM FORD Private Blend. The original Neroli Portofino from the same brand is basically a modernized version of an eau de cologne. An eau de cologne is a really old school style of smell. It goes back centuries. But the thing about an eau de cologne is that freshness. It just comes across as exhilarating because it has lots of Neroli, which is the essential oil from Orange Blossom, and lots of citrus. It's just really bright and refreshing. But because those are mostly top notes, they don't last very long. So if you want something for an all-day wear, I wouldn't grab a traditional eau de cologne.

But with Neroli Portofino, everything has been dialed up. So it's a much higher concentration of fragrance and there's more happening. There's more to smell in the dry down. When I wear it, I get more of a musk, light leather, and spice. More so than the original Neroli Portofino. It's definitely an all-day fragrance.
