When first sprayed, Nota Vanilla comes across as a bit screechy, which might not appeal to everyone. However, the drydown is where it truly shines. The fragrance settles into a beautiful, well-rounded blend of notes that I absolutely love. That said, it feels like one of those perfumes that could become headache-inducing if oversprayed, so a light hand is key. Overall, it’s a lovely scent, just not quite perfect for me.

The notes in this would be delicious if they weren't overpowered by the amber, it has a delicious nougat and hazelnut, it's still good but would be great if they remade this fragrance without the amber

I was so close to blind-buying a full bottle of this based on the notes, but I’m glad I ordered a sample first. I can’t even describe the smell - it’s awful. It’s like rubbing alcohol mixed with something unidentifiable. A sweet note tries to emerge, but it’s overpowered by the unpleasant stench. I hoped it might improve, but two hours later, it still reeks as badly as when I first sprayed it. Even after scrubbing it off three times, the smell lingers. I’ll give it one more chance, but this is far from the heavenly gourmand I hoped for and a huge letdown compared to Nota Sugar, which I love.
