Here's what other people are saying about Vanuatu...
Tried the sample, bought a bottle. I agree with Chloe, it takes some time to form in the drydown. Projection is limited, which I appreciate as this is more of a skin scent for me. As always, the atomized bottle version is more subdued than the sample vial. I pick up the vetiver scent which can sometimes be harsh. However this sandalwood, cedar, and patchouli blend is nice. FBW. 10/10.

At first, I didn't think it was anything too special. Kind of woodsy, citrusy, aromatic. Meh. Around half an hour in, I began catching whiffs of something divine and realized it was Vanuatu. It dried down on my skin into something really special - a very creamy, warm sandalwood with what I think is the papyrus lifting it up. I'll be honest and say I really don't smell the vast majority of the notes, but overall, Vanuatu ends up being a warm, creamy vetiver-like scent on me, with underpinnings of something spicy and intriguing, but remaining eminently wearable. It takes a little while to work its magic and meld with my skin chemistry, but for me it's FBW. 9/10.

I must remember to refrain from reviewing a perfume after having only worn it for only an hour or two. I mistakenly dismissed this as a dupe of the original Polo. It's not. Shares some notes, but that's it. This lovely and complex, masculine fragrance improves over time and even grows in the 8 to 12 hours after application. I went to sleep enjoying and woke up enjoying it and have enjoyed it all of day two! Will test all of sample and may buy a full bottle. To me would be a 24-7, 4 season fragrance. I LOVE IT.

Reminds me of one of the many unsuccessful, early to mid 80's, Polo dupes. Not bad, but incredibly overpriced, in my opinion. Sample from discovery kit.
