Cherry Ink

I really love this scent because it is so mysterious and quite frankly it's just hard to pin down. I can smell the ink note in it when on my skin with the cherry in balance and not too sweet and it is something that you cannot really describe because it's so unusual. I find myself smelling my wrist all day long because it is so intriguing, the scent.

I ordered a sample & was looking forward to the cherry as described here, but it was barely perceptible, as were all the other notes listed. No fruit. No floral. No ink (whatever THAT's supposed to smell like). It's not in the least bit dimensional & reads more like a cheap, spicy, animalic & overpowering men's cologne that lingers long past it's welcome- like a punishing reminder on a daybreak walk of shame after an anonymous drunken hook-up. Just ick. Hard pass here.

Exceptional cherry which manages to be simultaneously bright and dark. The cherry note itself is true - not a sugared version. The dance of notes is an amazing - just when you think Cherry Ink will head north of sweet the black pepper, ink, tonka bean, wine, and patchouli draw it back to a more sophisticated level. The vanilla is a vehicle for the other notes, not the star. For those concerned about the ink note - don't be. It is there but in the best way possible. Think the initial whiff you get from those of your youth art class and were intrigued. That's where the note ends. The depth of this is shocking. Sillage 8. Longevity 9. My 4th FB fragrance from the line (Van Py Rhum, Summer Hammer & Carbonara). Lorenzo Pazzaglia is a master.

This is a masterpiece!! First of all, I like performance above all! I like to walk in the room and let my scent introduce me! The projection and silage are remarkable! This is also exquisitely unique. I have nothing to compare it to. It is a cherry scent, but the ink is in the spotlight. I never thought an ink note would be this beautiful. It almost feels a little cold on the tongue the way that iron in blood does when you bite yourself. It’s a wonderful oddity, not for everyone and I’m happy about that! I am an over sprayer, but this cannot be overdone! Three sprays is beast mode for this fragrance. What a sublime potion! It has to be Witchery!

I’m a big cherry girl, I’ll try anything cherry fwd and usually those are gourmand girly cute scents but this is like dark red leather restaurant booth cherry - ambery inky dark, still sweet but like dirty syrupy cherry coke kinda boozy kinda sour. I love it and rec to all Cherry heads
