"Fred Jourden, founder of Blitz Motorcycles is a dear friend of ours for so many years now. We launched Lola James Harper and Blitz Motorcycles the same year and since then we often share together about our projects, our visions and our dreams. Every summer we meet at Venice Beach with our families. He is a paddle tennis guy, we are a basketball family but the courts are just next to each other and every now and then we take a pause and talk under the California sun. In Paris, the Blitz Motorcycles Garage is close to our Lola James Harper Studio. With my son we love to pass by and check his work in progress. It's always so nice to hear Fred sharing his design and mechanic issues and goals. I love the smell of that old fashioned garage, and needless to say I love it's energy and all the objects and tools spread all around. We decided to launch our collaboration candle to celebrate our friendship and our common vision of art, entrepreneurship and artistry. And also to celebrate that amazing Parisian garage that is no longer there since the building was sold and transformed into a luxurious hotel. What We Think
A motorcycle garage is, in general, not something one usually fantasizes about going to. However, upon smelling the new collaboration candle between Blitz Motorcycle Garage and Lola James Harper, we can't help but long to be transported to the smoke-filled shop wafting out hot metalwork and whiffs of patchouli. A new take on the 'cool weather' candle, this scent is for those who crave a warm, unique burn for the fall/winter season.
