Michel Morsetti

Country: France

Michel Morsetti was the assistant to Ernest Daltroff, founder of the venerable House of Caron. Alongside Ernest & Raoul Daltroff and creative director Félicie Wanpouille, he built the house from its humble beginnings in the early 1900s to their surge in popularity from 1911 with the introduction of Narcisse Noir, and the glory thereafter. In 1939, when Daltroff was forced to leave France to escape the Nazi persecution of Jews, he left the business in the hands of Wanpouille and Morsetti ascended to the role of master perfumer, when he continued to create groundbreaking new fragrances.
