Eau de Parfum
Cologne pour le Matin was all about dew in the rising sun: the promise of a Mediterranean spring morning exhaling wafts of citrus and aromatic herbs. Absolue pour le Matin is the same morning stretching into noon, the spring yielding to summer, blue sky bleached white by the sun. The effect is just as bracing, but more ample and sharply drawn, as though the thyme, lavender, lemon and bergamot expressed their essences more generously in the heat. A violet accord boosts the original Cologne’s powdery freshness; its dewy quality is dried out by amber, iris and woody notes, which also serve to anchor it to the skin.
Now close your eyes and you’ll just about hear the cicadas on the olive trees.
Calabrian bergamot, Sicilian lemon, Moroccan white thyme, lavender, Tunisian neroli, woody iris accord, dry amber accord, violet accord
