This is my favorite vanilla scent. And I have tried countless samples of vanilla from lucky scent. This is sweet and predominantly vanilla but there is a subtle green note that freshens this up and keeps it from being too cloying or too simple (like a bath and body works body spray). It’s vanilla that is a little more grown up and refined. It’s not your average vanilla cake scent. It lasts almost all day on me with good projection, but I do have a very sensitive nose.

When I first sampled this, I could hardly smell it. I ordered 3 samples and had to douse myself with them to get a good whiff. (I wasn't sick with a cold or anything like that.) This happened to me with another vanilla scent in the past, too; I was almost completely asomnic to it. Then, something happened. I can't say what—but all of a sudden I could smell it! And it is beautiful. I agree with what another reviewer said about it smelling like the most expensive French vanilla cake from a fancy patisserie. It has a nice, very subtle, hint of lemon, too. Truly beautiful. I purchased a full bottle. :)

Pretty and sweet, almost perfect, but it doesn't last very long in my opinion. Other users reported more success, so maybe my body just burns if off quickly? Maybe 4-5 hours. That aside, it's a lovely vanilla that is slightly cakey, more more like an expensive French vanilla creme wafer rather than a cupcake.

My favourite scent of all time.. A heavenly vanilla that smells like an exquisite cake from France. Lasts 12 hours on me and worth every cent.

This is utterly amazing to me. A vanilla that is not a cupcake, but a serious cologne for us to wear and love. I would like to add something that has been bothering me for a long while. People get on here and complain about prices. This is really classless and shows bad education. In the first place, this is a unique experience with a specific created scent and is not a department store place or mentality. I am glad they visit, but no one begs them to shop at a store they feel scents are "beyond reasonable" cost. It is not anyone's fault, and certainly not a reason to mention a scent's review!

Holy grail vanilla! A creamy pure vanilla with just a touch of lemon and florals in the beginning, drying down into a lovely amber vanilla spice dream. One spritz lasts me all day.

I ordered a sample of this with another perfume (full size) I found here that I adore - Comptoir Sud Pacifique Vanille Extreme. The Vaniglia del Madagascar is simply wonderful. Such a warm and lovely vanilla scent with a slight undertone of the amber. So far, I am wanting to order a full size. I will wear it for several days to decide.

Amber notes cover most of what I was expecting to be a fantastic Madagascar Vanilla. Instead of the sweetness of the vanilla, I get a heady and arrogant amber that won't leave my wrist. I tried to wash it off with no avail.

If I am forced to find something wrong this this scent, it's that I love it and am forcing myself to buy it, even though I've been searching for a "cookies" fragrance (per my husband) and this isn't that. This is true, wonderful vanilla. Opens with a hint of citrus which (sadly) quickly fades. But the true vanilla pod scent lingers all day. Not sweet, not cloying. Just true vanilla. Vastly prefer this to Tihota. FBW.

Holy cow - what a vanilla. I loved it from the bottle, but it only improved when I finally wore it. And the boyfriend - well, it's his favorite to be sure. I've yet to try this out in public, but if it's as positive a reaction as it has been at home, it's FBW for sure!

The open is cotton candy, it's the only way I can think to describe it. Not it a cheap way, but it's all I can smell. After a few minutes the sweetness is still there but it's cooled off a bit. It's definitely still too sweet for me, but if sweet vanilla is your thing you'll probably love this. I'm also getting a lemony-custard feel. It's also got hints of... creamy plastic. Again, not in a bad way, I'm just not sure how else to describe it. And interesting vanilla scent, to be sure.

THE most exquisite Vanilla scent I have ever owned. It is perfection. Opens with a slight hint of citrus,lemon, and then it's rich creamy vanilla all the way. It lasts a good 8 hours on me and it's quite subtle not an 'in your face vanilla' at all. Worth every single cent :)

Holy grail indeed. I don't even like vanilla scents, especially when they're screaming 'You're a cupcake and Imma eat you now!' HOWEVER, although this is a true vanilla scent, it is not ridiculously sweet or synthetic like many others. The opening was a little strange for me...reminded me of a soda pop candy I had as a kid. But within a half hour the scent really began to open up and breathe, and become this delicious floaty vanilla...much like a true vanilla bean. After a few hours it turns into something even better...something warm and woody and almost smoky. Sillage is soft and polite, but longevity is fantastic. 12+ hours on me. I'm amazed at the depth of this of this ostensibly simple perfume.

I don't think that I have ever smelled a vanilla this good. I have always loved the idea of wearing a smooth, creamy vanilla, but up until this point have found most to be cloying, sickeningly sweet, or chemical. This is a beautiful vanilla with lasting power, rich and true to the actual pod (or extract, as another reviewer commented). It is still sweet, but in just the right places, and the other notes do a nice job of balancing the vanilla with a rich and smoky feeling (thank you, amber). If you love the idea of wearing a vanilla but find most end up smelling synthetic on you, give this a try. I'll definitely be ordering a bottle.

Such a lovely fragrance. Vanilla has the staring roll here, not at all fake or plasticy, very true to vanilla extract, type. I smell faintly the lemon in the top. Dries down to a lovely vanilla with a hint of musky/amber. I cannot stop smelling myself. So wonderful. Will be buying a fb.

This scent is great! I am a guy and I think it smells great if not a little too feminine for me, but if you want some advice add 1 part of this to Tom Fords tobacco vanilla and you will have the best cologne you have ever smelled guaranteed. Tobacco vanilla isnt sweet enough, but add this and its amazing! I found the best smell ever, I got 4 compliments just today!Amazing stuff!

l get a sweet, sugary vanilla, suggestive of delicate macaroons rather than a rich vanilla cake. The lemon is very subtle, & l do not detect the floral notes. The vanilla slowly becomes smoother, creamier & more caramel-like, & closely resembles natural vanilla extract in the mid-phase, before being joined by hints of amber in the base. A very nice, good quality fragrance & a must-try for vanilla lovers.

I do love this! it's a true vanilla and yet it's very fresh, not heavy or foody. I frequently travel to Zanzibar and it really does remind me of the vanilla vines that grow there. When you sniff the pod right on the vine with all the flowers around this is what it smells like!

Gorgeous! This is a warm, rich, true vanilla bean scent that will encourage you to sit, in a state of bliss, with your nose pressed to your arm. The bottle is huge and the lasting power and sillage are impressive, so it's well worth the investment. I've tried many, many vanillas, but I always come back to this one. I bought a full bottle, but I still keep a tester vial with me at all times because I never want to be without this.
