Pluie Sur Ha Long

Vietnam, Ha Long Bay. “Water, water everywhere, not a drop to drink”. It’s under the junks which slice through the surface of the sea, in the saturated air above and, in the distance, in the clouds announcing the arrival of the monsoons.

The aromas of nature’s all-enveloping shroud are present in this evocative composition, which includes water flowers, lotuses, cyclamen and a refreshing accord of clear water, with a vibrant hint of pink pepper and rhubarb at the top that crackle with the energy of an impending rainstorm. Smooth, rich magnolia and neroli bloom in the heart, while a soft musk in the background provides a suitably atmospheric and long-lasting base.
