Here's what other people are saying about Chambre Noire...
A deeper, sexier version of Autoportrait. The plum is luscious! The patchouli is fine quality and only whispers. The benzoin/leather is soft and supple. It has a bit of powder that reminds me of cashmere. It's what other brands tried to copy but failed. Unisex, and grown up. Sexy and confident. No sticky fake sugar. Think of this as a fine wine!

More than just being one of the best fragrances I’ve ever had the pleasure of smelling, this fragrance is simply ME. This fragrance is my life in a bottle. So very nostalgic b/c it’s so well blended - perfection! ??? When I smell this perfume it takes me straight to my childhood and covers me in a warmth. Not the type of warm like your by the fireplace drinking hot choc but the type of warm like your arriving to a show in late afternoon/early evening early wearing a warm leather jacket w/ leather accessories. Very calm and pleasant! I honestly could go on and on for hours about Chambre Noire but I’d likely start not making sense lol.

Warm, powdery. Not very unique. I have smelled this fragrance before and I am sure I will smell it again in other incarnations. Yet I do like it enough to purchase and wear.

Love the name. The description is spot on, this is definitely a vintage style scent. It is nice but not for me, too sweet, powdery, and mature. I don't think the scent matches the name, on me it is not dark at all.
