Here's what other people are saying about Isis...
This scent really perplexes me. First off, let me be clear: I love it. Fell in love with the sample and asked for a full bottle as a gift. I still love it, especially the dry-down. Yet I am hard pressed to describe it, or even tell you why I find it so compelling. Unlike an earlier poster, I do find it muddled; I can't quite follow the thread or pick out the notes. But it works! Get a sample and live with it for awhile - for me, it's a delicious enigma of a scent.

Initially very sweet, almost like cotton candy. There is a subtle after scent of musk. Don’t smell much else going on besides that. I think I’m finding I’m not a fan of smelling like a food. Am I remembering correctly that it smells like Debbie’s “Electric Youth”? No, I think I’m thinking of Colors of Benetton. Something from youth.

I had a feeling i would love this, being a vanilla and heliotrope fan, ordered a sample and glad i did. This fragrance captivates me, it is a mature fragrance and it is comforting to me. I have tried this one and the Vanilla Marble and have loved them both. I look forward to trying the other one's by Agonist.

I don't get any green from this, only a warm, slightly spicy vanilla scent which I adore! The tiniest fruity fragrance pops out but does not linger and I think I get ginger but it whisps away . A nice fall and winter fragrance

This is a pretty scent, but a little strong. It seems to be a fruity- or floral-gourmand,. With most fragrances I can pinpoint specific notes but I had trouble with this one, even after reading the composition. With that said, it does not smell muddled at all; on the contrary. My boyfriend was in love with the scent at first whiff. Based on the other reviews here, men seem to go crazy over this fragrance. Side note: smells identical to Ambre Cashmere Intense by Perfums de Nicolai.

I received Agonist Isis as a complimentary sample and I'm thrilled to have tried it as I was intrigued by the range. I can't get over that of all the reviews I have read, people can smell so much ginger and peach and mandarin - Isis is essentially a warm vanilla on me. It starts out quite resinous and that lovely warm, spicy vanilla, but more like cardamom and cinnamon than the freshness of ginger spice. Once these top notes die down, it is nothing but warm, amber-y vanilla. Which is lovely, don't get me wrong, but I want less caramelised sweetness and more citrus tang or leather/smoke! Will not be buying a bottle but highly recommend this to those who love a warm, comforting, not overpowering vanilla.

One of the most exquisite perfumes I have ever had the pleasure of smelling! I bought a full bottle a few hours after trying on my sample. I was smitten! Scrumptious... positively yummy! All the notes blend seamlessly into perfection, a carmelized heavenly ambience! I hope they never quit making this!

I had to write an update: My husband is crazy about this scent. He has never reacted so positively or strongly, one way or the other, to any of the hundreds of perfume I have worn. He followed me around talking about how good it smelled and said I needed to give him the name so he could buy it for me. He only likes the dry down though because when I put it on fresh and he smelled it he accused me of putting on different perfume. An hour and a half later he said it smelled wonderful again. He says he can smell vanilla, but something else richer he doesn't remember smelling in a perfume before. I wonder what note it is?

This smells like canned fruit cocktail with mini marshmallows in it. I happen to love that smell. It reminds me of my beloved country grandmother in Kentucky who would sneak us junk food when our super health nut parents weren't around.

Carlos at the 'Scent Bar' turned me onto this amazing scent ... At first whiff something happened to my brain, like a gentle narcotic, it was addictive from the start. I took my little sample vile back to the hotel (I am visiting LA), I found myself whiffing it all evening, what is this? Is it the amber, the cistus, the vanilla, the benzoin, or the caramel that is making me so happy? Whatever is in this parfum, I had to have! I returned the next day and purchased this amazing elixir. I carry a little roll-on bottle with me during the day ... Just whiffing it out of the bottle makes me happy, what can I say? There is something quite unusual in this juice ... it is addictive and comforting!
