Here's what other people are saying about Liaisons Dangereuses...
I have been buying samples of this 5 years. I should probably buy a bottle at some point. This fragrance is perfection. This is peach and plum pie. Not too sweet. Just enough. The coconut flesh adds depth, creaminess, and sensuality. I always get compliments.

nice projection, very nice scent.

A scrubber on me. All I can smell is musk mixed with fruit, and I'm not a fan of musk. I like most of the By Killian fragrances but not this one.

i applied and within a few minutes the fruityish fresh rose mellowed into something that smelled very familiar, but i couldn't think what. And then it hit me! My Degree solid antiperspirant! I did a side-by-side and they are awfully close and I actually prefer the Degree! Too much clean laundry musk in this one for me to enjoy it. And not very rosy or "dangereuse" and smells very synthetic to me. My deodorant is way cheaper.

I , if possible, would rate this a 4.8 rather than 5 star. Five star I reserve for the "I can't Live Without It" category. One of Killian's other scents - Good Girl Gone Bad gets a 5. However, that being said, Liaisons Dangereuses comes in a very close second. I must have met the perfumer in another life because he seems to have the talent of understanding exactly who I am. I pray he has a long and successful life and NEVER discontinues producing my two favorite fragrances. You may get a description of what essences are contained within the formula, but whatever the unique combination is, it is enough to send me into near euphoria. Had I the financial resources, I would purchase enough to bathe in this perfume on a daily basis.

I've recently been trying to branch out fromy usual opopponax based scents and I've fallen for this pretty hard. Lots of lovely layers that hint at the different notes. I don't think this is a particularly sexy scent though despite the description!

nothing dangerous about it. interesting, a bit, yes. after a few seconds lily of the valley, and then later something, an attempt at a what a sexy skin would smell like but cheap. hard to explain. reminded me of '70s. verdict: not interesting or sexy enough to pay $$$.

This is really luscious! The rich deep purple fruitiness of prune nestles into dry crisp toasted coconut, where they meld together into a puddle of fragrant goodness. Over time, there is a rich suede accord that wraps it all up.

Very similar to L'Artisan's Voleur de Roses to me, a velvety dark rose with plum notes. Liaisons Dangereuses is more complex though, and longer lasting. A very beautiful scent.

I'll say up front I'm not a rose lover so for me, the rose overpowers the other scents. But I wouldn't want to take away from the perfume which is very complex with many layers - I guess I'd say I need more "cowbell" (in this case, maybe more prune) and a bit less rose, but I could see for someone who loves florals that this could blow you away. It's interesting, but just not for me.

Beautiful. my favorite of the line. I think of a dim bedroom filled with dark silk sheets on a bed where two lovers have exhausted themselves to slumber. Just smooth and rich beyond words. More on the feminine side, but the type of man who can *truly* pull this scent off will only be enhancing his already incredible lady killing skills.

Wow, what a beautiful scent. A deep, rich and warm fragrance with an initial spicy light pepper and citrus tang that settles into a velvety sweet blackish rose with hints of dried prune, blackcurrant and coconut. As the description says, this fragrance is smooth and complex and I found it to be very long lasting with no diffusing sillage (so you can be greedy and keep it close to yourself all day!) The vanilla, white musk, sandalwood and geranium sit under the rich fruits with just enough force to create a well balanced aroma that is perfect for cold wintery days. Not a rose lover - I found myself being drawn to the wonderful Damascus rose which in this scent is both wild and modern (not an old lady scent at all). It's like you have a dirty little secret you don't want to share.... Definitely give this one a go and see if it doesn't give you a wry smile as you wear it.

A lovely mix of rose and other sweet notes. However, this is similar to Givenchy's Eaudemoiselle which is cheaper.

I agree with Anonymous down below, it's is very much a unisex scent... very metro. It was too sharp for my taste.

I really like this! On me it smells very fresh and green. I little fruity and musty also. I could never afford it though, LOL.

Hmmm, I'm glad so many others liked this but I have to be honest in saying I found it too sweet and a little cheap smelling. There were shades of Exclamation, which I used to bathe in in jr.high but wouldn't spend over $200 a bottle to smell like now. I've been sitting here now for a couple of hours waiting for this scent to redeme itself, there is the promise of something better lurking there in the middle notes...but in the end it just smell like sometime I'd expect a teenage girl to wear.

Wow, I have been sampling so many fragrances and think I finally found the perfect scent. This reminds me of a 5 star restaurant, it smells rich, sexy and comforting. Unlike the many other samples - this scent lasts and lingers.

I ordered all the by Kilian scents. I was curious about them and thought I would sample them all. I just knew I would fall for Love and Beyond Love, but much to my surprise I fell hard and fast for Liaisons Dangereuses. This scent is beautiful! I smell fruit and rose, but in a beautiful clean fresh way. This scent is complex and beautiful. My husband loves the smell of this perfume. It is a beautiful ripe fresh scent. I could go on and on about this scent. The other by Kilian scents were okay. The ones I thought I would love just did not stand out like Liaisons Dangereuses.

I received samples of all the By Kilian products and this is my favorite, especially on my husband. He walked out of the house with this on and let's just say I wish he didn't have to go in to work. I will have to save up for a bottle of this.....maybe for a special Father's Day gift.
