Rock Crystal

Eau de Parfum

If you like Rock Crystal Eau de Parfum, we recommend you try:
Here's what other people are saying about Rock Crystal...
A most favorite scent, with a warm incense and pepper, a sharp wood, and bright orange note. The fragrance is not particularly strong or very long lasting - but very seductive.

A devastatingly, heartbreakingly scent rooted in the mystery of the not-knowing. A siren song that lures your consciousness into places you have only dreamed about on the edge of awareness. I Love It!!

This is a perfume for the ultimate romantic. Elves from Lord of the Rings. Mysterious, magical, a paradox of comfort and danger, all that.

The initial spray consumed me with overwhelming joy - this was the most amazing fragrance I had ever smelled and I couldn't believe I had finally found it. For the next hour I fought the urge to charge the $175 full bottle and pay for express shipping (yes, I wanted it that bad!) And then suddenly - the dreaded synthetic musk note this had successfully managed to avoid during that blissful first hour appeared out of nowhere. Why? I don't need my fragrance to have stages, especially not synthetic ones. I can't tell you how relieved I was for not caving in and purchasing this. Perhaps it's just a chemistry thing, I don't know, but I definitely recommend trying before buying (the beauty of samples!) I will say, however, that if this had stayed at the initial stage - I would have forked out the $175 repeatedly to always have that beautiful scent in my possession. Oh well...

Ok, another quick update. I refered to my previous "timber home" comment, and DUH! I dabbed a tiny amt of wonderwood over RC. UN-FREAKIN-BELIEVABLE. It is soo nice. This is the comfort food of fragrances. Truly lovely, give it a whirl, I believe you won't be disappointed.

Ok, quick update....as i smell more of my arm, the pepper is disappearing and now it is just a really pleasant "spiced" scent. Like walking into a wooden timber home, where there has been alot of lovingly prepared meals. I am falling in love with this, it could be FB worthy. And I totally agree with Shannon...layered with another scent this would take it to another level...but what other scent?...hmmm......

WOW, this really is black pepper all the way (on me at least). It is literally like stepping in to your spice cupboard and rolling in a melange of pepper, pepper, cumin, pepper, and.....oh yeah, PEPPER! lol, that said, I don't hate it. i LOVE a scent that can carry cumin and albeit it WAY in the background, it is there and quite alluring. They say the way to a man's stomach........dunno, I am gonna have to try this one again and see how I feel.

Watery roofing tar. Luckily, it only lasts about 5 minutes on me.

Reminds me a lot of the spice garam masala...would have liked it better if it had more incense, less butter chicken.

I love Olivier Durbano. Amazing perfumes. I had tried Black Tourmaline and Amethyst about a year or so ago, and waited until now to try Rock Crystal. It didn't disappoint me at all. After trying all three though, I can appreciate them, and I bet they would all layer really well (in small doses of course). For the FB though, I went with the Amethyst. Thank you Olivier Durbano, you are truly amazing.

This starts off very dry, reminds me a bit of Miller & Bertaux #2 Spiritus/Land. A nice light incense scent.

I like woody-incense scents. I like Rock Crystal. It smalls fine on me - but - I still prefer CdG Jaisalmar and Les Nez Let Me Play the Lion which both have very disctinct personalities. By comparisaon, Rock Crystal is just nice and inoffensive. Nothing wrong with that - it's just not enough to make me want a bottle of the stuff. It might be interesting layered with something else?

Rock Crystal loves me. It wafts a nicely contradictory hot/cool, dry/humid, smoky/airy trail...the only incense scent I like right now.

Fabulous. Dark and mysterious. The incense and woods blend togeher beautifully. Great lasting power. A must try for fans of incense scents.

Meh. The coriander is a little overwhelming for me. I could raid my spice rack, rub a little behind my ears, and get the same effect. It's not a bad smell, just not for me. This one might be better on a man. The citrus also makes it seem like more of a summer incense scent than something like Avignon.

This remind me of a lite version of Norma Kamali's Incense. It's nice but not unusual. Glad I could sample and save money.

Rock Crystal is, without a doubt, a rich, deep, and mysterious fragrance. It's not sweet, so a chance layering with Piguet's 'Baghari' yielded fantastic results. Most fragrances can be put in a category of some sort, but not this one! A swirling, misty, dark fragrance, suitable for dark nights and dark thoughts.
