Citrus scent, lovely and delicate, and even smell a little lemon in it. The only problem, the scent doesn't last too long.

Decided to try this. Although I'm not a fan of floral scents, I am a big fan of citrus scents and Serge Lutens fragrances. On me, Fleurs opens with a bergamot sort of slightly bitter citrus, but that fades quickly. The lemon blossom scent becomes prominent. To me the lemon blossom was the note that lasted all day and I could still get a faint whiff the next morning. Hubby says he got a waft of a soft, sweet leather as part of the draw down. But my experience was the white flower (mellowed jasmine, gardenia type) scent that permeated. I don't hold scent well and this lasted forever on me. Great longevity and great sillage. I have another SL scent that is more citrusy that I absolutely love (Mandarine, Mandarine), so will likely not pick up this one, but it is a lovely, white floral that has great lasting power.

I love this one. Creamy, white flowers, good lasting power, elegant, perfect for spring and summer.

This changes quite a bit over time--from almost bitter neroli and lemon, to fairly strong tuberose for a brief time, to a soft musky scent. It lasts all day on my skin, but the drydown, while still nice, has a persistent white musk that seems almost synthetic.

Initially like a strong, fresh, citrussy cologne, slightly bitter, more lemon peel than lemon blossom. I was hoping to find the sweet, smooth headiness of the flowers, like Greece in the springtime. It slowly becomes more floral, but fades fast. It's a good cool-down scent for a hot summer's day, but doesn't last long enough for me.

Not my thing at all. I love effervescent citrus scents, but I completely agree with hellospacegirl that this smelled more like dried rinds, or a pommander. Theres a lot of stuff going on in this scent - it's strangely spicy, and to me it smells like an orchard potpourri with wood chips. Quite long lasting - but completely lacking the uplifting citrus notes I adore.

This smells exactly like Lemon Pledge... and it is STRONG. It lasts far longer than you want it to. Not recommended.

I have to admit that I am not a big fan of Lutens' scents; I find them too overbearing -- too sweet, too animalic, or too woody, depending on the particular frag. FdC, however, stands out as a complete exception. It is luscious and understated, and it exudes just the right amount of freshness. It doesn't hit you hard, but instead just lingers subtly, never smelling strident or overpowering. As it dries down, it becomes the most incredible honeyed skin scent -- honeyed, yes, but also still subtly fresh. This is my top "going out on a date" frag.

Fleurs de Citronnier is a soft, gentle, sunny scent. It has the loveliest lemon blossom, and the complimentary notes add sweetness and staying power. The lemon blossom not itself fades as the day goes on, but never disappears completely, which is a bonus for me as orange blossom-type fragrances disappear on me sooner than I like. Simple, elegant, and unobtrusive. Work-friendly.

In one word: pretty. Delicate, floral, fresh and simple. This is a scent that sneaks up on you. It isn't loud or overwhelming at all, but it has good lasting power. It is one of those always appropriate scents which can be dressed up or down. Perfect for every occasion. Throughout the day I kept getting unexpected whiffs of something beautiful in blossom. As it turns out, it was my perfume. Easily worn in many seasons, a full bottle purchase is not a regret. FdC is a sunny fragrance sure to lift one's spirits.

My friend hasa lemon tree and this perfume is identical to a real lemon flower.

This perfume is inoffensive but also kind of weird. It's a citrus scent, but a heavy one that does not smell fresh or effervescent. I don't think flowers -- I think dried preserved flowers sitting in a box. On me, it smells overwhelmingly of baby powder. Which smells nice, but not 100+ dollars nice. Serge Lutens makes wonderfully decadent Oriental scents. I'll pass on this.

This is my fifth Serge Lutens. I buy them infrequently because, well, they are treasures to be savored and, yes, a bit on the pricey side. I have Ambre Sultan, Bois de Vanille, Fleurs d'Oranger, Fleur de Citronnier, and Dam Blond. The FdC is from heaven above! Exquisite.
