Here's what other people are saying about Geisha Violet roll-on...
Not bad. I must admit that I liked because there is no chocolate. I was much more interested in the violet perfume. But, unfortunately, as compared with sage roll on amethyst, this scent it is not even close. That is why only three stars.

I did not smell the chocolate at all. Violets, oh yes, but no foody scent at all for me. It did smell very green in the roll on bottle, but then it dried down to floral. It is ok, but not the best, but I am not a floral type for the most part.

This smells very green and leafy in the vial, with a cloud of cocoa. On my skin, it morphs and the lilac comes out with a hint of violet. The cocoa note smells dry and almost dusty, but it''s a very interesting note to layer with powdery florals. Unique, but not really doing it for me as a fragrance I''d crave.

No chocolate on me. Just lilac and violet on a lovely bed of green. This one feels like a cool breeze on a warm evening. In the heat of the day it brings the sweet florals to the front.

Like chocolate in a nest of bruised leaves. A slight green bitterness under the sweetness, and a note of soap. It''s an odd fragrance. It went through a sweet&bitter phase on me that was so bad I almost had to wash it off, but then subsided into a nice, sweet violet.

Should be called "Chocolate Violet" - all i get is lots o''chocolate and very, very little violet. Now if i really wasn''t on a hunt for "The Perfect Violet", maybe I''d like this more as a foodie frangrance that would be warm and comforting on cold nights. I''d probably wearing to a christmas party, etc.

This is my second favorite Geisha oil after Green. It''s fresh, sweet, soft, earthy... a very unusual combination of scents. But at least on me it''s very well balanced no one note overpowers the others. I''d give it a 5, but it wears much closer to the skin than the other Geisha oils.

To me this smells like SWEET DIRT, kind of like a person thats been laying around in a violet patch for awile, it never really got any better later. It is best to try this first, to see how it works on each person! It was yucky for me!

As others have posted, this does last but not in a good way. I was looking for violet and got only chocolat initially, which then turned horribly wrong, as in old lady wrong. Very disappointed since this smells great in the sample bottle but just did not work with my chemistry.

This perfume is so beautifully haunting. I must say the first time I put it on, I thought it was just too green, but it quickly warms up to the most feminine fragrance I have ever smelled. What I love about it is that after completely forgetting it''s there, I can move and Wow! I can smell it and it is so lovely. I have had many compliments on this. I love Blanche too, but this is my new favorite!

On me, this is utterly exquisite, both seductive and ethereal. Plus, it lasts for hours.

grr! i have bought 3 different geisha perfumes, and sadly, i am like a jilted lover who always gives her unfaithful lover another chance- and gets stomped on again! this one has no delicacy at all, i don''t smell any subltle violet, only a harsh, sweet, artificial veil which is almost impossible to scrub off, and in fact in my humble opinion, is downright "hippie-ish" but, again, just my opinion. and it should be noted that since i live on a diet of wine and hot chili peppers, my chemistry may be a bit off. so don''t take my word as gospel.

Tried the sample and at first was turned off by the earthiness of the chocolate that I detected (description was right on in that regard). But, after a couple more tries, this grew on me and I do like it. Perhaps not enough to purchase a whole bottle, however. At least not yet, I''m giving other violet-based scents a try first. Still, it''s a rather pleasant fragrance--the girlyness and femininity and powder of violets, anchored and made more mature by that slight bitterness of the chocolate. Give it a try if you like violets!

This smelled like a rather dry, herbaceous violet on me. I prefer my violet to be more powdery or fresh, so it''s not my favorite.

I agree that this one is long lasting, like most of the Geisha Aroma M oils. This was mostly a green violet scent on me- a little sweet, a little on the watery side. I didn''t get any chocolate notes from this one, however, for a violet scent I also didn''t get any of the powder that is sometimes associated with "classic" violet fragrances. Not awful, but not very distinctive either. I''ll try my sample a few more times, but I''m feeling this probably won''t be something I''ll buy. Geisha Rouge and Geisha Noire are more my types of perfumes.

I would definately buy this! It is light but very long lasting!
