Mukti Organics
Prior to the turn of this century and the current eco trend, there were no organic skincare brands or valid certification process for skincare products. At the time Mukti, the founder of the eponymous company, saw a niche in the market.
With qualifications in natural therapies, holistic medicine and beauty therapy, Mukti began to experiment. She researched the art of formulating natural skincare products and concocted the first products in her tiny laundry. The brand has continued to grow 'organically', with many of Mukti's original customers and outlets still using and stocking her products today. Meanwhile, Mukti has furthered her studies in cosmetic chemistry to continue to improve her growing line of naturally organic skincare products.
Mukti Organics products were first certified in 2006 by the Organic Food Chain (OFC) in Australia and adhere to a strict criterion of allowable inputs. The company is independently audited on an annual basis. Each formula has been meticulously researched and fine tuned to include ingredients that protect the skin from the harmful effects of free radicals as well as to heal, regenerate and actively improve the function, appearance and overall health of the skin.
Australian ingredients are incorporated in the bases of the products including macadamia nut oil, aloe vera and bioactive superfood native extracts that are highly compatible with the skin. The skin is a living and breathing organ that requires nourishment from vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, carotenoids, flavonoids, polyphenols, essential fatty acids (EFA's) and botanical extracts. All of these can be found in Mukti plant-based skincare formulations.
All Mukti products are handmade and manufactured in Australia in the pristine hills of Maleny, on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.
