Ever since we started carrying the indescribably luscious Léa, people have buzzed with questions about who created it. We now have an answer: Liliane, the owner of the ultra-chic boutique, Calypso, in St. Barth. Liliane visits Manhattan, Paris, London and Milan and selects the cream of the crop of fresh new designers and standout designs from established lines and creates a cohesive and trend-setting fashion vision. As it happens, she also loves fragrance, and created Léa for herself, with her daughter as inspiration. Other people fell in love with it, it became a cult favorite and now she has a fragrance line with other fragrances just as wonderful as Léa. The line is Calypso St. Barth – not to be confused with Christine Celle’s Calypso, another fragrance line from St. Barth. Is there a story there? Well, if there is, we don’t know it. One mystery at a time, people! We’re just happy that the creator of one of our all-time favorite scents has new goodies for us. And I think we can safely assume that St. Barth is one fabulous smelling island.
