Opoponax is harvested on bushes that grow in Somalia and Iran. Its scent of balsam evokes that of myrrh, with which it shares some properties. An exotic and entrancing fragrance with warm vanilla- scented notes. Sophisticated and sensual opopanax was used as a perfume in Egyptian times.
