We love the fresh and crisp meets rich spiced heart of this fragrance…it’s unusual to find what you might consider a fall or winter fragrance mixed just perfectly so that it becomes appropriate in any season. Egon Oelkers has hit a note of perfection with eo02, blending the gourmand notes of clove, cinnamon and vanilla with the deeper elements of incense and patchouli then surprising you with a robust and zippy citrus. It’s fabulously elegant and dripping with class…all edges are smooth and its body is potent yet it’s never in-your-face pretentious. And we have to add…once this has been on your skin for a bit, the citrus fades and the warm folds of luxuriously soft wood and spiced notes sweetened with vanilla appear and are absolutely to die for. It’s the kind of scent that makes those around you lose their good posture, slump their shoulders a bit and get all weak in the knees. eo02 can (and does) inspire swooning, so be mindful of its charm when in public.
