Fleur de The Rose Bulgare by Creed

Mrs. Teddy Roosevelt commissioned Fleur de The Rose Bulgare from CREED in 1890. She first learned about CREED four years earlier, during her honeymoon in Europe. Mrs. Roosevelt (known as Edith) asked CREED to make a fragrance with Bulgarian tea roses that she and her husband had smelled in their newlywed days abroad. CREED created Fleurs de The Rose Bulgare, which evokes all the romance of a long honeymoon. It also evokes the beauty and destiny of the gracious woman who became First Lady in 1901.
Today, Fleur de Thé Rose Bulgare is Creed’s most popular Private Collection fragrance. It was introduced to the public in 2000 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Teddy Roosevelt’s election.
