This would make an excellent gift for the man who hates fragrances, as it's a very subtle skin scent that has hints of leather, paper and lemon. Unlike 99% of reviewers, I have not had any issues with longevity. I apply in the morning and it's still there 9 hours later. It does feel a little more watered down than some stronger fragrances, so you have to apply more. The good news is that it's almost impossible to overspray because it's so subtle.

This is listed as tending toward the masculine, but I'm a woman and wear it very happily. Extremely fresh but not squeaky clean. I agree with the previous reviewer about strength; I wish it lasted longer.

I love the scent of Duel, billed by Annick Goutal as a scent for the "21st century romantic man." But there is reference to a past era of "the unbridled dawn vision after a man of honor has thrown down his glove." I beautiful tea/leather/iris scent. My only concern is the longevity.
