A floral for adult audiences only. The opening is cool and camphorous, clearing the cobwebs out before we get to a soft and honeyed hawthorn blossom that beckons and teases and leads us down a pretty path. This path is so extremely lovely that we don’t quite realize how deep into the forest we are getting until it is too late to turn back. A dark and intoxicating rose appears, drenched in liqueur and swirled in licorice. Ethereal flowers get an earthy bite from cardamom, cinnamon and patchouli, while a seriously insinuating blend of sandalwood, cedar, vanilla and musk murmurs provocatively in our ears, clearly up to no good. Granato has a boozy, spicy quality that is luxurious and seductive, but still playful. Like the fun-loving friend who could always convince you to cut class even though you knew better, this is the perfect companion for getting into trouble of the most delicious sort. Flirtatious and complex and very, very sexy.
