Bois Blond, inspired by an evening in August, the time of harvests, is a Limited Edition scent created by Parfumerie Generale to delight the fans of woody fragrances. The cedar note that lies in the heart of the composition is fantastically sumptuous; it smells balsamic and slightly peppery. The beautiful hay note adds a charmingly bucolic quality to the scent. Although undoubtedly possessing a very appealing pastoral side, Bois Blond is at the same time supremely elegant. That refined, sophisticated feel of Bois Blond is achieved by the presence of the striking and dry note of galbanum— A subtly-smoky, just a tiny bit sweet blond tobacco adds a sensual, husky undertone to the blend; the effect is further enhanced in the drydown by the lush, warm and enveloping accord of amber and musk.
