Initially, very pretty. Evolved into a too sweet fragrance that made me go to the ladies room and wash it off.

I read the list of notes and thought to myself "This one looks GOOD." Well, looks are deceiving. How on earth the creators of Ichnusa (best fig scent EVER) could create this "fragrance" is beyond me. Smells like a fruity Glade scent inside a hair salon where a perm is in progress. Simply awful.

To my surprise it opened up with a bit of a peppery note. Later on a green fig came out which tranformed into a ripe fig in the drydown. Very nice composition and long lasting. If you like fig scents then this one is for you. I did not get any of the pear or almond on my skin. But with all the fig, and I like fig, I dont need anything else. Pricetag is high as it is will all the others of this line. For sure worth the price. Great staying power on my skin

I just wanted to amend my last comment - I remember now that fig often smells coconutty to me, so that must be what I'm smelling.

At first when I tried this on, I was afraid it was going to be a dud because I couldn't smell much. But after about an hour, I noticed this wonderful sweet almond scent wafting up from my chest. I am also getting the sandalwood and surprisingly, coconut, from it - but no fig. This is a warm, sweet comforting scent. Just wish it had a bit more pear, as I love that note.

First post I've ever placed on Luckyscent, but this one deserves a warning *do not try this*. I tested it yesterday and here were two comments: 1) "Cloying" 2) "You smell like a tub of fresh Play-doh."

If you want a fig fragrance that lasts forever on the skin, then Dambrosia is your thing. To be fair, I am not big on fig perfumes, but I was impressed at how strong and tenacious this one was. I think it's perfect for all year round.
