The Scoop
This is a walk through an orchard in the fall – ripe apples on the tree, a few overripe ones scattered on the ground, crisp air, a bit of green grass and a bit of hay, old wood, and a haunting sense of frost just ahead. This is mulled cider with a subtle dusting of spice – comforting and warm, taking the edge off the chill of an October evening. Brandy is predominantly apple. A very realistic apple with a dollop of peach. It is definitely sweet, but there is a warmth and richness that bring to mind a fine liqueur rather than a mass-produced confection. A lovely autumnal scent that captures the sweet melancholy of the season.

Wow, it smells really really good! I will def buy a full size bottle if it stays longer on my skin. But I will give this one .... 5 star.

I only have a couple of perfumes on my wish list. I've worn Shalimar EDT for years and still love it, but want the parfum, and I want a bottle of Chanel No. 5 parfum as well. Brandy is the only other perfume I've found (other than various BPAL scents that are cheap enough that I have gone ahead and bought) that I love enough to put on my wish list. It is amazing!

I love the smell of this!!! However I cannot wear it b/c it makes me sneeze everytime I sprtiz it on!! Maybe it is the "herbaceous heart notes"??? Gave to my 16 year old niece who likes it well

I'm a lucky Lucky Scenter as well. This is great on me! Not at ALL cheap or generic. I wasn't sure during my sample -- but I MISSED it so much after I ran out I knew it was a keeper. As a point of reference: Chanel #5 is great on me and Cristalle is a "cheap" smelling nightmare. Jardins de Bagatelle is great on me and I KNOW that's often dubbed cheap smelling and for the shallow-at-hearted hahaha! the classic Joy is all jasmin on me - which I love but the roses are lost even after 5 hours or so... 10 hours - I smell the rose :-) sorry so long - just want to help anyone on the fence! oh the whole horse marketing sucks me in too I confess...

This was amazing when first put on. It smelled exactly like overripe apples strew about under an apple tree (or like a jar of applesauce). A very realistic, sweet, almost liqueur apple smell. Sadly the initial apple scent drifted away quickly and left an odd cinnamon/chemicals smell that weirded me out at first Thankfully this cinnamony smell is the type that grows on you and isn't too overbearingly harsh. I would never pay for an entire bottle of this, but to each his own.

After sampling countless "fruity"fragrances,and countless headaches,in search of a mature smelling light and unique apple-spicy aroma,I had to repurchase this one(handed off the original bottle I had,thinkin it was just ho-hum..Well this one is a real keeper! its not a complex scent,but its great for everyday wear! love it!

Like any fragrance, it depends on your body chemistry. In this one, I am fortunate: rather than cloying and cheap, on me it is bright, yet very redolent of fine leather, bourbon, and hay, as well as the strong apple everyone initially notices. Very sexy. Fades rather dry. A much more subtle scent, on some of us "lucky" scenters, than others. And in comparison to so many other fragrances I favor, a bargain!

What a charming autumn fragrance! Warm and lively, comforting and airy, like being outdoors at a Fall Festival with bushels of apples and country hay... delightful and unique... the best apple scent I have smelled that doesn't make me smell like an apple air freshener or apple potpourri/candles.

I was looking for something appropriate for my 14 y/o granddaughter. The description sounded perfect, but when I sampled it, my first impression was cheap apple wine and chemicals. I'll pass on this one.

I was surprised at how close this is to its description. Juicy green apples in the top notes, followed by warm apple brandy and dry autumn leaves. Only lasts about 4 hours, unfortunately. Is that standard??

When I first sampled this scent, I could not figure out what it was I was smelling. It is sort of sweet, very bright, and I'm getting vanilla. The apple in this is very noticeable, and I think that is what is confusing to most people who wear this. Apples have never been equated with sexiness, and this is a definite sexy scent. After wearing my sample for a few days, I'd say this is full bottle worthy and I'd even pick up the lotion to enhance the scent.

This is a very young fragrance. My husband's favorite and it leaves many wonder what it is that I am wearing. It is sweet at first, but than it mixes with the wormth of your body and turnes into something very seductive deep and flirtatious. It will bring you confidence of youth.

On me this is very tart. It kind of reminds me of a cherry jolly rancher. I rarely think a scent is too "young" or to "old" but this smelled so much of candy that for the first time I am going to have to say this one would be best on a teenager!

At first I thought this smelled a little like refined licquor, but then the smoke and cinammon notes appeared and it had carmel and peppery overtones. Very complex notes. I use it when I wish to be puzzling to someone. Seems to always work. I really love it, actually. A mysterious scorpio scent!

Luckyscent really describes it perfectly. Very sweet and very delicious - true apples, light peach, rasins, cognac, cinnamon. It's not a sophisticated evening fragrance - but very sexy in a youthful Calvin Klein era Brook Shields, Gloria Vanderbilt jeans, Jo from The Facts of Life kind of way. 4.5 stars

Smells just like the description. The first real baked apple scent I have ever smelled. Everything else that makes the apple spice claim smells like toilet spray. And as for others who also claim apple (i'm looking your way, "be delicious") they can't hold a candle to this fresh, warm, autumn scent. Buy a sample and see if you love it too.

Very nice warm apple scent......but no lasting power! I accidentally spilled half the sample on myself and the scent was gone in less than 2 hours. :( Very yummy scent though, but reminded me a little bit of potpurri.

Think of a leisurely stroll through an apple orchard in late fall, with the aroma of apple cidar and warmed brandy wafting from within a cozy log cabin...this is what comes to mind when I envelope myself with this amazing scent...a real winner at a reasonable price...

Brandy develops like a beautiful poem with the apples' innocence concealing the final beauty...which IS like perfectly mulled cider, but WAY less foody, and with an undefinable warmth...is it sandalwood? I'm on the lookout for the 100 ml bottle!!!
