Omniscent Eau de Parfum
Eau de Parfum
by YOSH

The Scoop
Opening with a fierce peppery blast, this is a lavish, reckless feast of a scent, complete with platters of candied fruit, hookahs and handsome men with bad reputations. If this fragrance were a party, your mother wouldn’t let you go. Flowers, fruit, citrus, woods, incense, herbs – you name it, Omniscent has got it. Happily it all works together to create a spicy and sensuous blend with a dreamy narcotic drydown. A little smoky, a little sweet, very satisfying and strangely magnetic.
Omniscent Eau de Parfum Notes
Gardenia, Egyptian tuberose, fig, lilac, violet, kush, Tunisian opium, vanilla, sandalwood, basil, clove, geranium, pink grapefruit

I bought this on the strengh of the reviews and to me this is for women as its just too sweet and floral for a male. Its spiceyness i couldnt percieve with all that sweet flowers going on. Great for women but this isnt unisex in my understanding

One thing I forgot to touch on in my other review (not talking about the girl) is longevity and projection. The longevity is incredible! I applied it to the inside bends of both elbows, and I can honestly say that if I hadn't taken a shower the next day, it would have easily lasted for 48+ hours. It was still on my thermal shirt days after. This is most likely due to the use of the best natural oils (it's also an EDP). As for the projection, let's just say that when you wear this you will not be successfully sneaking up on anyone. In saying that, this is not heavy or syrupy sweet at all. The sweet, spicy, and herbal notes are blended masterfully, none outshining any other. Nice-Niche!

Love it!!! However at first, it was a tough sell. For me, this one was like the proverbial unattractive girl that always sat beside you in math class, because she wanted you. Meaning: she was the one girl you had an inner struggle with, because you knew your friends wouldn't approve of her looks, but boy did she have other viable assets! After some thinking, you made up your mind and said forget what friends think, I'm getting with her, she's the one. Despite there being something slightly undesirable, there was so much more strikingly different that drew you back in every time. The only thing negative I have to say is that it doesn't come in a 100ml size, if that's even a negative. Point blank, period... buy a bottle!!!

I first tried the oil perfume of the same name about 3 years ago. I was instantly hooked. I was hoping that they would come out with an EDP and to my surprise Yosh did! To me, it's a soft powdery floral scent of gardenia, mingled with hints of vanilla and a slightly candied scent with opium lingering throughout the notes. I truly love this scent! It evokes as what the description reads.

This smells like toilet freshener on me. Comes across very artificial and unpleasant.

It is funny how so many perfumes are so different on so many people. For a long time I never attempted to even try YOSH because of the comments, but recently I received the sample May packet with the new EDP of YOSH's oil scents and WOW, I immediately went on-line and placed an order for the EDP Omniscent and Stargazer. I also went back to the descriptions of the oils to see why I, in the past, decided against YOSH. What I can add is that, (to some comments) I am old enough to have used hippie oils to make candles blah blah blah, and these are far from any of those that I experienced in my past. I beleive that our experiences here in America with European Perfumiers has opened up the market to some extraordinary designers. I disagree with some comments that these are overpriced perfumes, (believe me I wish they were cheaper) and it would be advantagous for these small group designers to go main stream. We could buy these perfumes at our local mall stores and they would make way more money. Who knows, maybe L'Oreal would buy them out and give them mucho bucks for there talents. LETS HOPE NOT!!
