I think if I was on a date with a woman and she smelled like this, I would seriously have to hold myself back from getting too close. It's warm and comforting, but I think it can be pulled off by either sex. My sample is all finished. Guess I'll just have to buy the bottle now. =)

Yes, it's pricey, but it's worth every penny. This is what I think luxury smells like. it makes a statement without being overpowering.

I am so disappointed as I loved my sample of this, I got the perfect blend of woods and vanilla but after ordering a full bottle, the vanilla is non-existent on me and the lasting power poor. It is with regret that I have to sell my bottle. I will continue my search for my perfect, if not elusive woods fragrance.

This is really lovely on me. It's quite sharp and spicy. I don't really get any vanilla at all... wish I did, a hint of it would be nice. It's very woodsy indeed. I ordered a sample and would certainly consider a whole bottle. I think it could be worn year round although some may find it a bit heavy in summer.

I like CdG incense series, but they were a bit too strong. This cologne has the right mix of incense, wine, and wood that makes it the perfect cologne for the fall and winter. Yes, it's pricey, but it's like cashmere--a touch of luxury that helps you get through those cold, dreary days.

Pure, golden pine. Pine and sunlight. I loved it the moment I put it on. Unfortunately, that moment lasted about 30 seconds and it was gone. That's the only reason I did't buy a bottle.

My SO absolutely loves this, he won't wear anything else. I agree that it is too masculine for women despite the delicious sounding notes. A must try for your man!

Deeply woody and masculine. I think it's too masculine for a woman to wear; I like it on my husband more than on me. Not much in terms of lasting power.

Cedar and woods do predominate, but it's hard to appreciate the full complexity of this scent from a sample. I gave this to my husband for Christmas and am knocked out by the delicious spiciness his chemistry brings out. It's subtle, too. Very sexy on a man!

Well, I really like this scent, but... it's very close to Gucci Rush for men! Le Boise is more full bodied, complex and lasts longer than Rush. Plus the bottle isn't made of plastic like Rush's. But the latter one costs only about half of Le Boise's price!

Nice fall/winter frangrance. My wife said it reminded her of a flannel shirt that had been in a cedar chest. I know its suppose to imitate the oak barrels used in wine making but it does have a cedar smell. Very manly but not too over powering. Like walking through the cedars on a cool fall day.
