| While I always make up my own mind about what I like I always read the comments on this wonderful site and, I've found, there are a few guys I pay attention to because they seem to like the same frags. as I...Well, Mr. Paradis(sic?) is correct when describing another city exclusive...it's really nothing special and not worth the price...I'm going to take it a step further...of all the City Exclusives I've tried (3), one was just bad and two were, and here I go, I fear the wrath I'm about to incur, common, fleeting and completely beneath the LeLabo team's previous efforts...there seems to be a trend among some of the upper end parfum houses and I don't know what's causing it...save one (read my Frangrantica article on Amouage Honor Man) and that's
Amouage Honor Man, Memoir man, and all the libraries...Christopher Chong seems to be concentrating more on coming up with a CV` for those, like all the hype around Honor with the son of Madam Butterfly and the opera in general. I don't know why they are feel like they must make up this elaborate story and no thought toward the scent itself...someone else said the new Amouage (and I'll go so far to say the LeLabo as well, hello, can we say Santal 33 in addition to the Cities) had nowhere close to Jubilation XXV, Epic, and Gold men with not only the sheer amount of ingredients but the complexity of the scents overall..So, what it is? I hope they abandon these trends anyway and go back to the old way...my Dad, God rest his soul, always said if it ain't broke why waste your time on fixin' it? IT AIN'T BROKE!!! Keep writing JC, et.al. I depend on all of you, and guys...say you are a guy if you are anonymous since I find that if it’s a female writer I can pretty much do the opposite of what they’re saying and I’ll get it right…so we need to know you’re a male or female..

| I love this! That is, until my skin just "ate" it. It's totally gone after only one hour! I'm sad. I was hoping this could be my special X-mas present, but for the money, I'd need to not have to apply it all day long. Very pretty vanilla, though. On the right person, this would be heavenly! |

| This is a gorgeous light incensey vanilla... more incense than vanilla, and not foody at all. Layers very nicely with Poivre 23 too. |

| Don't shy away from this if you're not a vanilla lover. This is mostly a dry and woody incense perfume on me. I have searched for the vanilla in this but can't find it. It's multi-faceted and lasts all day like most Le Labos. This is my perfect calming scent and love it! Just can't imagine NOT having this one. |

| I love this light and woody vanilla perfume.I'm on my second bottle being the vanilla freak that I am.My other favorite vanilla is Serge Lutens Un Bois Vanilla.But this isn't as sweet , lighter and a little more grownup vanilla. |
