Grisens Eau de Toilette by Phaedon

Can there ever be enough incense-themed fragrances, when incense itself can have myriad facets in different cultures?
It is on the Japanese island of Awaji that master perfumers blend the most sought-after incense sticks. So why improve on perfection? Grisens, a portmanteau word that alludes all at once to gris (gray), incense, sens (meaning or sense) and griserie (exhilaration), sets off the fine quality of incense used by the koh-shis with sandalwood in a timelessly classic blend. As delicate as the tendrils of smoke rising from incense sticks in a Japanese temple, and as quietly meditative and refined as the traditional ko-do ceremony.
